Dr. Sekhar teaches French language and literature. Her research interests are 20th/21st Century French literature, post-colonial theory and literature, and French cinema. Dr . Sekhar's theoretical interests are psychoanalysis, philosophy (phenomenology), and post-modern theory.

Dr. Garmann teaches German and French languages and cultures. Her
research areas include the German Enlightenment, Classicism and
Romanticism, French literature and culture from the 17th through
19th centuries, as well as modern literary theory, psychoanalytical
